Babette's East Hampton

Yesterday morning we got up early and Richie decided he wanted to go out to eat.  We were at my in-laws' house out in long island, so didn't have our neighborhood spots to rely on.  We usually eat in while we're out there, but once in a while, for a special breakfast, we head over to Babette's.

While Babette's is not vegan, it is organic, fresh, and very vegan friendly!  They seriously make the BEST tofu scramble I've ever had!  They have a way of making it crispy at the edges like a real omelet.  It's a real treat!  Everything is always fresh (though overpriced) from their juices to teas to entrees.  Richie had a Woodstock French Toast and I had a Vegan Broccolini (tofu scramble with broccoli and vegan cheddar) with Sweet Potato Fries and an Iced Tea and Avi had a Multigrain Pancake with Fruit (and some of my fries of course).  Everything was amazing and we hit up the playground across the street after to work off some of our breakfast;)
