Sticky Fingers DC: Vegan Bakery Worth A Visit

As promised, here's my dedicated post to DC's own (and superfabulous) Sticky Fingers (vegan) Bakery:

I'll start by saying that the site does not do the bakery justice.  It's a decent site, but a supercute bakery.  When my friend Casey introduced me to it, I immediately googled and scoured the site (of course).  I obviously wanted to try everything, but was not convinced of the quality...

That being said, post visit, I'm superpsyched for you DC'ers that you have this amazing little spot to drop into whenever you need a vegan fix!

As I mentioned the other day, I grubbed on a vegan dog which was yum on a whole wheat bun and loaded with mustard.  But...what really blew me away was the sweets (duh).

From day one of my veganism, there were always 2 things that I really missed: croissant and cinnamon buns.  From what I can figure, croissant are irreplaceable.  Luckily, cinnamon buns (a.k.a. sticky buns) are doable, but it's rare you can find them.  Luckily for me, Sticky Fingers makes incredible cinnamon buns!!!

And the cupcakes were pretty amazing too!  If you're into carrot cake, the carrot cupcakes were maybe the best I've had in a long, long time!
