Hot Body Scrub

They are said to awaken and relax, to stimulate circulation, rid your skin of dead cells, and generally detoxify.  I have to say that I went through a period when I was doing it regularly and it really does feel great!  It should only take 5-10 minutes and is totally worth the effort.  I always feel invigorated after a body scrub...I really need to get back into the habit.

Here's how you do it:

1. Fill your sink with superhot water and get a wash cloth out.

2. Drop the wash cloth in the sink and let it sit there for a minute or two to get really hot.

3. Ring out the wash cloth and fold it twice (the layered cloth holds more heat for longer).

4. Starting with your face: SCRUB!  Then move down the body making sure to reheat the cloth as it starts to get cool and pay attention to all of your parts (avoiding your private ones that is oh and your eyes of course).

5. Scrub hard enough to get your skin invigorated and moderately pink (from heat and scrubbing), but be a bit gentler on your face, but don't be afraid to put a little elbow grease into it.

6. Also remember to pay special attention in the crease of your leg (a.k.a. your groin...such an ugly word, no?) and your armpits (another beauty).  Many lymph nodes reside in those two areas and the scrubbing is said to help drain lymph nodes which should strengthen immunity!
