Anniversary #3

Today is our 3rd Wedding Anniversary and I just can't believe it.  While at the same time it feels like our wedding was a million years ago, three years have gone by in the blink of an eye. Anniversaries and birthdays make me think about what I have, what I want, and what's good and bad about both.

I love that I have:

-a husband who is not only loving, but does the dishes (and often at times bath time)

-a great new apartment in a kick-ass neighborhood

-an amazing daughter who makes me laugh through most of the day, everyday

-some supercool new friends here in Park Slope

-an amazingly comfy and beautiful new Indian quilt on my bed for warm summer nights (an anniversary gift from my amazing grandmother)

-the comfiest bed in the whole entire world (forever calling my name)

-Grey's Anatomy season 5 on Netflix

Can you tell where I'm looking forward to spending this gloomy day?!?

And here are some things I can't wait for:

-Pearl Jam on friday night at MSG!!!  Richie bought us tickets in honor of our anniversary and my deep seeded love for Eddie Vedder and anything Pearl Jam.

-seeing my balcony seedlings sprout into juicy fruits and veggies (and herbs) all summer long.

-a real live back yard (here in Park Slope that is) one day...

-taking some surfing lessons out east this summer!

-my next trip to Jamaica (or wherever else tropical or new that is)

I think that's a pretty good list...  This next year will be about growth for us.  We're building a family, multiple businesses, and a life filled with the new and exciting in this world.

Here are some pictures from our wedding.  It's amazing to look back and see how far we've come!
