Full Focus For 2020

If you’ve been taking my class recently you’ve been hearing me talk a lot about my big picture goals for 2020:

  1. Full Focus on the things that bring me JOY and actively letting go of the things that don’t.

  2. Becoming a TikTok star. #becauseobviously

In all seriousness, my aim this year is to really weed out the stuff that isn’t serving me. The only way to be really good at anything is to give it your full focus. And when we are distracted, pulled in too many directions, trying to do too much at once (#guilty) we lose quality in what we are producing (whatever that is…a thing, an energy, a task). So if I’m really committing to Full Focus this year, in order to be the best version of ME I can be, then I have to let go of some of the stuff that was just taking up space in my life.

Part of this plan is aligning with brands, and people, and energies that feel more authentic to me. I want to be really curated about how I use my time and energy so I can live the fullest, most fun year (you truly do only live once kids!).

This Means Saying More NO. And really being careful about my yeses.

And saying no has honestly felt so gooooooood!!!

It has allowed me to feel better in the things I’ve committed to and that good energy really flows. It’s magnetic. Once you put the right kind of energy out into the world I really do believe it doubles back. Karma is a gorgeous thing you guys!

When Zappos and Pearl Izumi came to me to try out their new Quest spin shoe I was like: Hell Yea! That feels right. So I said YES and I’m psyched I did. They came super quick (Zappos is amazing and I def need to start using it more, their Rewards program makes things super easy and the way my kids buy shoes, get them home, and never wear them I think Zappos is gonna be my new best friend). Zappos also has a large selection, 365 day return policy, 24/7 customer service, and free expedited shipping with Zappos rewards! When I took them out at the studio to try them on, my cutie magager Nicole was like: oh…okayyyyy we like these!

Honestly, I never don’t need new spin shoes. Teaching in so many different studios and commuting between them means having a fresh pair to leave at the Williamsburg studio (new new new) make my life easier and me look so much cooler on the bike;)! I strapped these with delta look clips (you can get them at the studio and our amazing staff can even put them on your new Izumi’s for you).

Long story short, I love these. I love working with brands that feel good, make things easy, and allow me to have more fun. #2020 kids! Wooooo!
